Scholarship induction checklist

Dear New Scholarship Holder,

Welcome to the University of Queensland.

To begin your scholarship payments there are a number of documents and requirements you need to complete. The Scholarship Holder Induction Checklist below sets out some of the steps which need to be taken. The checklist should be completed and submitted within two days of commencing study as a scholarship holder to ensure the timely processing of your appointment on the Aurion Human Resource System and payment of your stipend.

In addition to the information on this page, you may receive information specific to the school you will be working in. This local information should be completed by the Induction Officer in your school.

APPLICABLE SCHOLARSHIPS
 

This checklist should only be used for scholarships (including top-ups) administered and awarded within an academic organisation unit, such as a school or centre. It is not to be used for scholarships administered by the Scholarships Office, Office of Research and Postgraduate Studies.

Method of stipend payment form completed and forwarded to the Human Resource Officer in your Faculty.
 
  
If applicable, an Australian Taxation Office tax file number declaration form has been completed and sent to Salaries Section. (This is required for taxable scholarships only, such as part time study and those scholarships not deemed tax exempt.)
