• Can I access MyAurion from home?

MyAurion is a web-enabled product available to staff from anywhere in the world.

  • What should I do if MyAurion won't work on my computer?

In the first instance you should contact the IT Liaison Officer in your organisational unit for assistance. If the problem cannot be resolved locally then inquiries should be directed to the ITS Help Desk via email:
itsupportdesk@uq.edu.au or by telephone: 336 56000 (select option 2). Your logged job will be directed to the most appropriate person to deal with your issue.

  • What browser should I use?

MyAurion requires Internet Explorer 7,8, Mozilla Firefox 2,3, Google Chrome 3 or Safari 4 to operate correctly. You will not be allowed into MyAurion without these minimum requirements as some MyAurion functionality will not operate correctly and can cause errors in the data displayed.

  • Can I use the mail option?

Yes, the mail option within MyAurion can be used to communicate with other MyAurion users but it is not designed to replace your existing mail arrangements. The mail area also holds many system-generated messages from Aurion with the whole area cleared by the Aurion system administrators at least once a fortnight. Therefore, use of the mail option should be limited.

  • What are the rules for a valid password in Aurion?

For a password to be valid in Aurion it needs to meet the following criteria: a minimum of six characters, preferably a mixture of numbers and letters and no special characters such as *^#@. The password is also case-sensitive.
