Staff ID cards for non-paid and associate staff
With authorisation, casual staff, non-paid staff (eg, volunteers, adjunct, honorary, conjoint staff, and Senators) and associate staff (eg, those employed by other organisations operating on the University campus (eg, Campus Kindergarten, UniQuest, UQ Staff and Graduates Club, UQ Union) can obtain a card and apply for library privileges.
Schools or sections seeking identification cards for non-paid University staff must first apply to the relevant faculty Human Resource Consultant to register the person's details. Organisations seeking associate cards should contact:

The Head of the organisational unit or Senior University Officer must submit the name, purpose, and duration of the appointment, to the relevant Faculty Personnel Officer for such staff to be recorded in the Aurion Human Resource Information System, together with a signed Request for Internal Services (RISQ) form. ID card and associated costs can be found on the Application for staff ID card page.
Non-paid and associate staff can then take the staff identification card to any branch and request that the barcode be activated for library borrowing purposes.
