Child care

Contact the relevant Director for details such as fees, hours and place availability. Parking
Some people require special consideration when parking on University campuses and other sites. They include people with babies and young children, part-time employees, people with disabilities or temporary mobility impairment, and pregnant women. Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
University employees and each member of their immediate families can access six hours of free counselling each year from Davidson Trahaire Corpsych, the University’s external provider. Confidentiality is assured.

Health care
The University’s Health Service provides comprehensive health services for staff at the Gatton campus. St Lucia staff are encouraged to find a community GP for regular care, but can visit the clinic for work-related reasons (e.g. travel vaccines) or emergencies. Workers’ Compensation
The Work Injury Management (WIM) Team assists with workers’ compensation claims and payments and medical and rehabilitation programs in the workplace. To find out more about the WIM Team visit the website
