The University of Queensland through the Centre for Transport Strategy and the School of Engineering provide a multi-disciplinary approach to training and graduate study in transportation.

UQ offers a range education and training opportunities and provides a developing, flexible approach to continuing professional development and technology transfer for transport professionals tailored to the needs of industry and government. These include graduate and continuing education courses and programs including:

  • Short courses, seminars and workshops
  • Undergraduate education in transportation through the Civil Engineering degree
  • Graduate coursework programs
  • Graduate research degree courses


Postgraduate programs in Transportation can be undertaken with a strong research focus – leading to Masters (MPhil) and Doctorate (PhD) degrees.
