My space or yours?

Another project focuses on the 'head space' inhabited by people engaged in mobile phone conversations. Arising from emergent literature in psychology, philosophy and cultural studies, the research will combine phenomenological methods with MRI technology to examine the mental states of mobile conversationalists. This project will have relevance to a variety of safety issues including the use of mobile phones in cars.
