GLAMM (Games, Location, Art & Mobile Media)

Cultural Technologies Node
Project Coordinators: Larissa Hjorth and Ingrid Richardson

Games, Location, Art & Mobile Media (GLAMM) is an interdisciplinary group of researchers, educators and practitioners exploring intersections between mobile gaming, hybrid reality, big games and mobile media. GLAMM was founded at the ARC CRN workshop on The Game of Being Mobile. The GLAMM blog provides a taxonomy of projects and research in this area; we aim to be inclusive and we welcome new participants.

The GLAMM group aims to investigate ‘communities, practices and contexts’ within three areas/platforms:

  1. Domestic
  2. Institutional
  3. Art
