RELATIVE NEWCOMERS: REFRAMING MEDIA DEVELOPMENT IN CHINA, SOUTH KOREA AND TAIWAN
This study constructs new frameworks to re-theorize East Asian media development. It bridges the divide between the normative critique of political economy and the applied urban planning/cultural geography traditions. The focus is creative audio-visual content in the ‘relative newcomers’: China, Taiwan and Korea.
