After studying at the prestigious Peking (Beijing) University and later in the US at Princeton University, he and his wife migrated to Australia in 1991. With only $4,000 in his pocket, and dreams of a brighter future, he started his new journey in Sydney. Today he is the CEO of Ironfish, one of the leading property investment companies in Australia and New Zealand. He was a keynote speaker at the Sydney Property and Investment Expo ’06; has been featured in Wealth Creator, Chief Officer, The Australian Financial Review, a book on The Secrets of Male Entrepreneurs, and has also appeared on the cover of Informed Investor, the Chinese equivalent of BRW.

From Bicycles to Bentleys is the inspirational story of Joseph Chou. This is a migrant story, and an Australian story. He will inform and motivate you to dream your own dreams as he articulates his journey, and illustrates how you too can benefit from what he has learned in both his business and personal life.

John Schaap, former CEO, Burswood Limited and Australian Airlines, and early mentor to Joseph wrote, "When you meet Joseph you find yourself, as I did, being swept into the enthusiastic approach he takes to life and business and, ultimately, success. I believe that by reading Joseph's book, you will also be swept into this exciting 'can do' world of Joseph Chou."

The Honourable Philip Ruddock, MP, Former Minister for Immigration and Multicultural Affairs further observed: "Joseph's book exemplifies the story of many people coming to Australia to seek a better life. As former Immigration Minister, I witnessed and heard of many such stories time and time again but few as moving and intricate as Joseph's."

Last year, Joseph and one of his old classmates, Mr. Minhong Yu, founder and President of New Oriental Education & Technology Group, held a motivation seminar at their alma mater, Peking University that was widely regarded as an outstanding experience.

Here is your limited opportunity to meet and learn from this world renowned inspirational speaker.
