e-Healthcare
The increasing use of IT in healthcare requires professionals with the appropriate training and education. We offer a range of programmes in e-healthcare, at undergraduate and at postgraduate level. Courses are mainly delivered via the Web; some courses also include a practical component, which must be undertaken in Brisbane.

Professional Development
A six-week residential course is offered (S7001) which is specifically tailored to the needs of senior healthcare professionals, including policy makers and administrators.
CPD Course in Telehealth
The COH is offering a three day professional development course in telehealth. This accredited continued professional development course in telehealth will take place in Brisbane during 2008. Course placements are strictly limited to 50 so early bookings are strongly recommended. More information

Who should enrol?
Students in this programme come from many different countries and backgrounds. They may include health professionals (doctors, nurses and allied health professionals) - who are very keen to learn valuable strategies to maximise the use of communication techniques in their practice. Many students without a health background find this course very informative - and to date the course has attracted students with experience in science, technology, law, administration and policy development.
