Evaluation and health technology assessment

The Centre for Online Health is a research, teaching and service provider.

It is part of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Queensland.  The overall goal is to research and develop best practice models in online health care that are applicable to Australia and other countries.

The Centre's main areas of activity are:

  • research in the areas of telehealth and homecare
  • teaching about online health
  • the delivery of online health services.

The COH also houses Online Psych, a network to promote the remote delivery of psychological interventions.

Staff at the Centre are also available for consultancy work (including evaluation).

The COH is situated on the Herston campus within the Royal Children's Hospital.
