Waratah Database

Waratah is a Windows compatible free software package that is a compilation of germination and ecological information, assisted by some photographs, which is designed to improve species selection for rehabilitation. The database reviews literature on the germination requirements and ecology of more than 500 tree and shrub species native to New South Wales. The database was produced in 1999 and has since attracted considerable interest. It is envisaged that Waratah will be updated in the near future.
