Chaplaincy

Lutheran

Chris Richards

When God gives you Lemons you thank him for them, then share them with your community (I find lemonade works best).
My name is Chris Richards, and I have been blessed with the opportunity to work as a chaplain at Multi Faith. I work for the Lutheran Church of Queensland as there young adult Ministry coordinator. I have grown up in the Church and worked for many different Christian groups, and am passionate about seeing communities grow and flourish. God has blessed me into a passion filled life; I love all things ‘arty’. I play drums, guitar, piano and can sometime hold a tune with my voice. I have working in and around circuses and love to juggle, balance, and perform aerial acts as well as a bit of escape.
Chaplaincy for me is not about walking around with a bible preaching the word of God but it is about getting to know people, their names, their past, present, and their hopes for the future. God is a God of love and community, it is my hope that I can share that love and community with the people around me.
I’m always keen to have a chat, join in a game of sport, or just chill. Feel free to contact me at

chris.richards@lyq.org.au or on my mobile 0430 219 340
