Volunteer your time
Many students and staff contributed as volunteers at major events and activities.
Organise a centenary event
- Some alumni groups organised their own Centenary reunions through liaison with the Office of Alumni and Community Relations.
- Schools, faculties, organisational units and other non-alumni groups organised Centenary events through liaison with the UQ Centenary Secretariat.
Share your story
Whether you were a past or current student, a staff member or someone who used the walking tracks around the campus – whatever your involvement with UQ was, we asked to hear about it via the Share your story page.
Submit a fact
The UQ Centenary Secretariat collated a series of facts about the University which have been used on this website under Did You Know?
And of course, you came along to the events!
The best way you got involved in the UQ centenary was by simply coming along and enjoying yourself at the events and activities in 2010. We thank all of you for your support of our Centenary.
You can see images and footage of some of the events in the How we celebrated section of the website
