First year UQ Journalism student, Tess Sweeney, never imagined just how amazing the Great Court could be.

"I had never believed people when they described the Great Court, until a group of friends and I sat there for the first time. The combination of sunshine and laughter from the other students created a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. Since then, I knew the Great Court would play a central role in my UQ experience. Now almost one year into my university career it has been a place to catch up with friends, to study, to sleep, to run through the sprinklers and a myriad of other activities.”
