Professor Michael Stratton is Director of the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, which studies diseases that have an impact on health globally by investigating genomes.

Michael is a highly successful researcher in the field of cancer genetics and will be speaking about  the evolution of the cancer genome.  Insights into this evolutionary process will form the foundation of our understanding of cancer causation, prevention and treatment in the future.
