Jon Mendrala completed two semesters at UQ as part of his Master of Arts from the University of Hamburg

 
G'day everyone. After spending a year in Bundaberg as a High School student in 1999-2000, I decided to return to Oz for my academic career.  After being a visiting student in 2004, I came back under UQ's Study Abroad Program for 2006.
 
I had the best two semesters abroad I could imagine.  I only wanted to study at UQ.  I couldn’t think of any other university in Australia I would have associated with that much. Getting to uni via CityCat, strolling across Great Court and getting taught by great lecturers - three lasting memories.
