Residents of South East Qld can access a new online system that uses Google Earth to reveal detailed information about the ecosystem health of local catchments, estuaries and bayzones. Known as Health-e-Waterways, it collates and combines information, and presents current and historical report card grades and changes in water quality over time. The system, which was created by UQ researchers, has been designed for easy application to any river system in the world.
