The Advanced Water Management Centre (AWMC) is an international centre of excellence in innovative water technology and management. Over the last fifteen years of research in this field, the AWMC has developed a leading expertise in education, research and consulting. Its particular strength is the close integration of biological science, process engineering and informatics. This unique combination forms the basis for groundbreaking research but also offers some exciting opportunities for development and application of user-specific solutions to challenging environmental problems.

At the 2010 Showcase and Networking Event you will be able to speak to the experts and explore the AWMC’s research themes:

          • Understanding and modeling biotransformation processes in sewers;
          • Biological nutrient removal from domestic and industrial wastewaters using innovative technologies;
          • Greenhouse gas mitigation in wastewater systems;
          • Energy recovery from biosolids using anaerobic technologies;
          • Energy and resource recovery from wastewater using bioelectrochemical systems;
          • Advanced water treatment for water recycling

This is an event for water professionals, those with an interest in water research and alumni.
