Venue: Lecture Theatre T203, Level 2, Hawken Engineering Building (Building 50), St Lucia Campus

As part of its annual Summer Exhibition opening night, the School of Architecture will launch its UQ Centenary Map.

The map provides a visual history of the physical environment of the University’s St Lucia campus, in celebration of the contribution of architecture to one Australia’s premier environments for research, teaching and learning.

Incorporating a decade-by-decade description of significant architects, their ideas and their buildings, the map reveals how architecture has acted to express the aspirations of the institution while also reflecting currents in architectural thinking.

An event for those with an interest in architecture and the making of the St Lucia campus.
