Welcome to the Centre's Newsletter!

The second semester has started and the Centre has been preparing to receive CSC Masters' new students, offering information sessions about our different courses. If you missed out, you can find a snapshot of CSC courses available this semester here. There is still time to enroll!
 
The last week of July was graduation week. See here some of our CSC alumni graduation photos


The CfCSC, Brisbane Development Circle and the Brisbane chapter of the C4D network hosted a unique discussion on C4D practice "Engaging Communities through Communication for Good Development" at The Edge last Thursday, which was well attended and a great success.

The School of Journalism and Communication hosted a champaign reception for its newest graduates. CSC PhD graduate Gerald Musa gave an inspirational speech to the attendees. Read about Gerald's work and his amazing PhD journey in Student Spotlight.

Centre Postdoctoral Research Fellows Sonja Vivienne and Martin Potter presented their research on "Free and open Source Software and Digital Citizenship" at ANZCA. Read about it in From the Centre.
