April 2016

Dear friends,

April is already upon us!

In this edition of Student Spotlight we profile two students doing remote fieldwork on opposite sides of the world. Master's student Trilce Patron Lecca tells us about her experiences researching community entrepreneurship in a coastal village in Peru. Meanwhile PhD candidate Mohammad Sahid Ullah reports on his extensive travels around Bangladesh investigating a rural telecentre initiative.

In news from the Centre, we are excited to kick off Phase Two of the small-holder cattle project in Timor Leste. Our team recently delivered training to local staff in facilitation and participatory video.
