Employer Profile: Australian Internships, established in 1998 is a specialist organisation dedicated to arranging internships for students and young professionals seeking international experience in their academic field. Approximately 800 international visitors each year participate in the program and are placed with organisations in locations all over Australia. The Internship Program is unique as its principle focus is to identify and secure the best possible internship placement for the applicant. Internships are available in a variety of industry fields and are arranged in accordance with an applicant's objectives, area of study or previous career experience.
The Australian Internships Program has been approved by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) for the Special Program 416. Suitable candidates aged 18 to 30 are eligible for entry with the 416 visa. Australian Internships will issue the necessary documentation to suitable candidates so they are able to obtain the Special Program Visa 416. Our reciprocal Australia Abroad program offers young Australians the opportunity to go overseas to enhance their career opportunities and we currently work with market leaders in over 23 countries.
