Abergeldie was established in 1994 with the aim to carry out complex civil infrastructure and building construction contracts throughout eastern Australia. The Company has offices in Sydney, Newcastle, Brisbane, and Canberra.
The Abergeldie Group has continued to expand. In 2007 Abergeldie acquired 100% ownership of blind bore shaft drilling company Ardent Underground Pty Ltd. Future drilling projects will be carried out as Abergeldie Mining. In 2008 after a 10 year association John Young (Kelvinhaugh) Pty Ltd is being acquired by the Abergeldie Group and operations will continue as Abergeldie Young Process Engineering.
