Vacation Program:
Macmahon offers vacation work placements to university students, with participants employed over the summer period within the Mining and Construction divisions. Vacation work is an excellent way to gain real life experience, meet and network with industry leaders, develop new skills, confront challenges head on and assess future career opportunities.
Scholarships are awarded to second, third and fourth year students who are encouraged to participate in the Vacation Program.
Graduate Program:
Macmahon employs qualified engineers in the Civil and Mining fields as well as non-engineering disciplines, recruiting numerous graduates each year.
The Macmahon graduate program is designed to provide graduates with the hands on experience and skills necessary to take up key leadership roles within the company.
During the program graduates broaden their experience and understanding of the business through rotations across various sites and are given challenging and practical work supported by experienced mentors. Professional and personal development opportunities are also given to graduates throughout the program.
