the playscapes

Campus Kindergarten has recently been involved in a year long project with the first year architecture students at the University of Qld to design and construct two new playscapes at the centre. Over one hundred architecture students under the direction of Michael Dickson engaged in a cooperative creative project to build two exciting new play areas at the centre.

In the Pre-Kindy area the focus was on colour, the senses, belonging and play.  The Kindy area focussed on adventure, science, engineering, nature and sounds.  The Uni students engaged with staff and children to design and build an amazing new play area that will be constructed over a couple of months.
