The Brigalow Belt is one of Australia’s national biodiversity hotspots. It supports a rich diversity of fauna, many of which are threatened due to clearing, climate change and predation by cats and foxes.
A group of researchers from organisations including The University of Queensland and the Queensland Environment Protection Agency has been conducting ecological research in the Brigalow Belt since 2004. This web site provides an overview of our current research and findings from completed research projects in the Brigalow Belt bioregion.
