SeniorNet, which was established in Ipswich in 1996, has now moved into the Boilerhouse. From February 2011 all their training will take place in the Boilerhouse Resource room. According to their website SeniorNet ‘is an incorporated association of seniors in Ipswich, Queensland, Australia, dedicated to helping seniors aged 50 years and over use computers and the internet.’ They now have fifteen computers, an instructor’s lectern and data projection facilities to help them in their mission of offering training in computer skills to senior citizens in Ipswich. This week SeniorNet held a morning tea to celebrate the move into its new training facilities.
