The University of Queensland's School of Nursing and Midwifery is dedicated to teaching and research excellence. They deliver contemporary, high quality teaching from practicing clinicians, and conduct world class research.

The School of Nursing and Midwifery is committed to building relationships and clinical partnership programs that will contribute to the health and well-being of the community.
The School is based across various sites and these include several clinical schools where undergraduate students carry out the majority of their education. The School of Nursing and Midwifery is based at both Herston, where the Faculty of Health Sciences main office is based alongside two of the largest Faculty Schools, Medicine and Population Health, and at UQ Ipswich, the University's newest campus with state of the art facilities and the latest technology.
Much of the School's undergraduate training is conducted in our teaching hospital clinical schools in South East Queensland.
Beginning in 2004 the School of Nursing and Midwifery have been conducting innovative teaching and research programs. Their research strengths include:
