The impact of an exercise program among semi-dependant older adults accessing day respite care
The aim of the present study is to assess an established Blue Care Respite Centre exercise program among new participants. Presently, the program displays anecdotal benefit to participants; however, this research will establish the level of benefit and assist in building a best practice exercise programs to be used state wide in Blue Care centres. It is hypothesised that the program will have significant functional benefits for participants, which will be further realised through an increase in their quality of life.
