 Advisory Committee

The UQ/Blue Care RPDC has an Advisory Committee comprised of:
  • three representatives from the University of Queensland, including the Executive Dean, Faculty of Health Sciences and the Head of the School of Nursing & Midwifery;
  • three representatives from Blue Care; and
  • two representatives from external partners of the University of Queensland & Blue Care.
The Advisory Committee meet on a quarterly basis and the aim of the Committee is to provide advice on strategic matters such as:
  • integrating significant changes & emerging needs in health, workforce and service delivery into teaching/learning, research & community engagement agendas;
  • fostering an academic environment which supports excellence in education, research, consultancy, partnerships and service;
  • establishing strategic & sustainable international and national liaisons in teaching/learning, research & community engagement;
  • the development & implementation of new programs of study and research;
  • continuous quality improvement of existing programs of study
