APCBM 2008 is opened for registration now. Early registration will recieve A$100 discount and deadline for Early Bird registration is on 30th July 2008.

Associated with APCBM 2008, there are pre-symposium short courses and post-syposium field trips. The people wish to take part in the short courses and/or field trips are required to register speperately as soon as possble. However the payment can be made together (see How-to-Pay documnet for details). Online Registration is highly recommended.

APCBM 2008 will provide a free registration to the Symposium for limited numbers of students who will attend to the Symposium. The student who wishes to recieve this offer is required to submit an application to the organization committee for approval before registration. The deadline for this application is on 15th July 2008. All students who register to the pre-symposium short courses will receive 50% discount of the courses registration fees.

The registration fees (all in Autralia Dollars) for the Symposium, Short Courses and Field Trips are shown in the tables below. Refering How-to-Pay documnet for details.

1) Symposium registration fee:

It is strongly suggested that all delegates register online through this website. The payment can only be acceptable throgh the following methods.  

(1) Bank-to-bank direct deposit: You can make payment through bank-to-bank direct deposit, from your bank to the Asia Pacific CBM Symposium bank account as follows:

You need to send your Payment Form(s)  (avaliable from How-to-Pay documnet) with a copy of bank's Receipt Number of bank payment to inform APCBM 2008 of your payment by email: apcbm2008@uq.edu.au or on fax: +71 7 3365 4199.

(2) Cheque (for Australians only) and Bank Drafts:  you may send a cheque or bank draft payable to "Asia Pacific CBM Symposium" with notation to APCBM-2008 Symposium/the name and affiliation of the Professor/sender. Any cheque should be sent to University of Queensland, C/O Dr Paul Massarotto, School of Engineering, St Lucia Qld 4072, Brisbane, along with  a copy of Payment Form(s) (see How-to-Pay documnet). Your cheque or bank draft must be for the exact amount in A$.

(3) International Wire Transfers:  If wiring from some countries outside of Australia there is a charge fee from that sending country and/or from the ANZ Bank listed below. So you should increase the payment fees for international wire transfer (IWT). This IWT fee does not depend on the amount of your transfers and you should get this message from your bank. Please note that all the money listed in the tables on How-to-Pay documnet is in A$. The delegates should check with their bank to see what the IET fee is and add that amount to their payment so UQ receives the net registration amount.  Delegates should also check to see if the fee is deducted from their transfers or if it is charged separately. If the bank doesn’t have the information the attendee should ask the bank to contact The ANZ Bank in Brisbane to see the regulation.  Recipient details for wiring trnasfer are listed below:

(4) Credit Cards: Only VISA or MasterCard will be acceptable. Please download a Credit Card Payment Form and full in the details (note that all Credit Card payments should be made- Done in A$) and fax to our fax no.: +61 7 3365 4199 or email to: apcbm2008@uq.edu.au. Please attach a copy of your Payment Form(s) to facilitate our transacting system.
