Rev.: Roma, helmeted, seated on cuirass, holding spear in left hand, clasping right hands with Hadrian, standing, clad in toga.
PONT.MAX.TR.POT.COS.II S.C.ADVENTVS AVG.

The obverse legend emphasises Hadrian relationship to Trajan. The reverse depicts Hadrian return to Rome after spending the whole of A.D. 117 in the East.
