IMP.XIX COS.XIIII CENS.P.P.P.
That Minerva was Domitian favourite goddess is abundantly clear from the remarkable frequency of her appearance on his coins. It was fitting that Domitian should place himself under Minerva protection: she was patroness both of arms and of literature, two fields in which Domitian strove to succeed.
