The RD Milns Antiquities Museum is located on the St Lucia Campus of The University of Queensland. It is housed on the 2nd level of the Michie Building.
The main University bus stop is located near the Michie Building, and the City Cat stop is a five minute walk away. To access timetables for public transport to the University of Queensland, see the TransInfo website. The university also provides a helpful Transport and Parking page.
Parking is available on campus, however, it is limited and charges apply. For further information see the Parking and Traffic website.
Members of the public are welcome to visit the Museum between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday. Entry is free and no bookings are required for general visits.
Tours of the Antiquities Museum by schools or other groups are welcomed. For further information on school and group visits, see the Education Programs section of this website.
In 2014 the Museum is trialing weekend openings on the second Saturday of each month. Check the News and Events page for more information.
The Antiquities Museum office is located in Room 215 on Level 2 of the Michie Building, with acccess through the Museum workroom. The office is usually staffed between 9am and 5pm for all enquiries relating to the Museum collection.

Group Booking Request
Although general public visits to the RD Milns Antiquities Museum are free of charge and do not require a booking, if you would like a guided tour of our Museum, please complete the Group Booking Request form. Tours, conducted by one of our enthusiastic and expert guides, are normally one hour in duration, but can also be combined with a hands-on workshop for a second hour if desired.
