Clinical genomics
The development of next-generation sequencing technologies has revolutionized our ability to examine the genetic content of microbial pathogens, using either purified cultures or metagenomic approaches.
AID researchers possess significant expertise in the areas of bioinformatics and clinical microbiology.
By combining these areas of expertise, we will bring genomic technologies to the clinical situation, with the goal of developing new diagnostic and epidemiological protocols.
