UQ Sunflower Competition

Open to all Australian highschool students, the UQ Sunflower Competition is designed to engage the budding agriculturalists of the future. Students will learn teamwork skills and be introduced to the scientific principles behind horticulture and agronomy.

FEAST 2016

This 5 day residential camp for year 11 and 12 students gives them the chance to sample ‘a week in the life’ of a university student pursuing a specialised science career. FEAST aims to inspire and inform students about possible future career paths in agriculture, animal science, technology and the food sector.

Honours Week

UQ Science Honours Week is the 31 August - 2 September. The School of Agriculture and Food Sciences will be hosting two events at St Lucia and Gatton campuses.

National Science Week

13-21 August 2016 is National Science Week

The Science Experience

The Science Experience program is a fun 3 or 4 days of science activities for Year 9 and 10 students in 2016.
