Research Communication on Display
Everyone is welcome to come along hear the School of Agriculture and Food Sciences heats of the SAFS 3 Minute Thesis Competition (3MT®).
The Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) is a research communication competition developed by The University of Queensland. The exercise develops academic, presentation, and research communication skills and supports the development of research students' capacity to effectively explain their research in three minutes in a language appropriate to a non-specialist audience.
The heats for the 3 Minute Thesis Competition (3MT®) will be held on the following dates:
Gatton – 11:30am Thursday 10 July, Animal Studies Lecture Theatre, 8150-153
St Lucia – 11:30am Friday 11 July, Room S429, Hartley Teakle Building, 83-429
The judges for the 2014 heats will be Dr Peter Dart, Hon A/Prof, SAFS; Mr Duncan Ferguson, Director, Commercial Engagement (Agriculture and Food) UniQuest Pty Ltd and Ms Emma Lambe, Executive Assistant to SAFS Head of School.
