With the need to develop greater expertise in mediating intercultural relations and more effective strategies for promoting peace and stability, the Centre provides expert advice to organisations on issues concerned with conflict and its resolution and relations between development processes, peacebuilding and structural stability.  The Centre also provides training and consultancy services in dispute resolution to the government and private sector. This is done by drawing on interdisciplinary expertise in the social, political, economic, legal, ethnic and cultural contexts of conflict in local, national and international arenas.
