This important service provides information or advice covering a wide variety of clinical areas, including complementary medicines. This information line is available for all health professionals and operates from 9am –7pm (EST) and can be contacted by phone, fax or email.

Australian consumer information hotline
The Medicines Line is a national telephone service run by the NPS. This service provides information on all medicines (including complementary medicines) to the general public.

Adverse Drug Reactions Advisory Committee
The Adverse Drug Reactions Advisory Committee (ADRAC) is a subcommittee of the Australian Drug Evaluation Committee (ADEC) and was formed in 1970 to advise the TGA on the safety of medicines. It is composed of independent medical experts who have expertise in areas of importance to the evaluation of medicine safety.
