ACCMER is governed by a three-person Board of Management. The
Board is comprised of representatives of each of the joint venture
partners, as shown below, and ACCMER's CEO, Beryl Morris.

ACCMER Management The CEO of ACCMER, Beryl Morris, brings an interesting
range of experience to ACCMER, from biotech commercialisation to
science publishing, business management and
the media.
Beryl is a Fellow of each of the Australian Institute of Company
Directors, the Australian Institute of Management and the Royal
Entomological
Society of London, as well as a Member of the Public Relations
Institute of Australia . She has postgraduate qualifications in
science, management and education and a broad background in funding
and commercialising technology from the biotechnology and life
science fields. This comes from CEO experience with three life
science/biotechnology companies along with past roles that include
managing a large life science patent portfolio and a number of
associated start-up companies at the University of Queensland and
a national industry liaison and public affairs role in Australia ’s
premier government research organisation, CSIRO. Beryl has authored
a string of educational books on science and has had a lengthy
association with the media resulting from regular presentation
of science topics
and issues. She is also much
sought after as a forensic science expert witness.
