ACADEMIC BOARD GOVERNANCE

Academic Board President and Deputy President
The President of the Academic Board is Professor Kaye Basford, and the Deputy President is Professor Fred D'Agostino.

Academic Board Secretary
The Secretary of the Academic Board is Ms. Maureen Bowen.

Senate Rule: The Academic Board
The Academic Board is established under the University of Queensland Act 1988. The role and function of the Academic Board are set out under the Senate Rule - The Academic Board.

The Senate Resolution for the Academic Board was approved by Senate on 28 November 1996. It has since been amended by Senate on 13 February 1977, 17 April 1977, 31 July 1997, 2 April 1998, 22 October 1998, 6 February 2003, 25 November 2004, 22 March, 2007, and on 20 November, 2008.
