The Community Reference Group (CRG) has played an important part in shaping the final Master Plan and has been core to the University’s broader community engagement program. The CRG has:

  • Provided community input and feedback to support the design, planning and development of The University of Queensland St Lucia Campus;
  • Ensured that the Master Plan considers the diverse range of community views and voices that make up the St Lucia community;
  • Provided information and advice to the University on strategies for consulting the community about relevant issues; and
  • Ensured that information regarding the Master Plan and planning process is effectively communicated to the community.

The group includes individuals and community organisation representatives in the St Lucia, Long Pocket and Guyatt Park communities.

Notes from the CRG meetings, including a list of members are available below:

UQ will invite the CRG to be involved in future university projects, including the Site Development Plan, which will be released for feedback in early 2018.
