The St Lucia Campus Master Plan will provide the strategic framework for future development of the University’s main campus in St Lucia, Brisbane.

The master planning process began with technical investigations on critical matters.  The first milestone was the development of a Key Directions Paper.  The purpose of this paper was to analyse and document issues for consideration, and outline a long-term vision for the campus.  The paper was been informed by early discussions with stakeholders and a review of issues and opportunities identified through consultation with the local community.

The Key Directions Paper is available for viewing here.

As this is an extensive document (90 pages), a 10 page summary paper that outlines the key issues, opportunities and directions is available here.

The Key Directions Paper does not contain specific strategies and projects – these form part of the Draft Master Plan, which is the next phase of the project.

Feedback on the Key Directions Paper was open from 28 September – 21 November 2016 and has now closed.  The Project Team is using the information provided to help shape the development of the Draft Master Plan and the future directions of the campus.
